Special Release – Raw Casting Set
All of the cars in this set are raw casting prototypes and contain no paint or graphics. All of the plastic parts are clear/white including the engine and interiors on some of them. The set includes the factory white box and plastic tray with the casting number of each car in its respectful bay.
Raw sets were not sold but included as random bonuses to club members. They are the raw diecast version of the first release of Rebel Rods series 375-01. Initially reported at 50 sets for the random bonus program, the owner of Playing Mantis stated that 100 sets total were made, but none ever sold in retail stores. The first 50 were for club members, the later 50 were sold through his liquidation on eBay.
