Many years have past since we started the Hot World Customs site with the merger of the former Van Designs information and many contributors, we have had an idea to compile the greatest list of 1/64th scale die casts available, including both vintage and current castings. As we embarked down the path of trying to determine what should be included and how to source the details, it became apparent that this was going to be a huge undertaking. What format, which manufacturers, what to include, where are the details, how can we get the details….. were some of the questions we had.

REAL Car Galleries Now Posted

Real Car galleries now posted.

Although, our offices are located in what some refer to as the cold tundra, we do have some spectacular car shows during the three months that are not Winter here. We went back a couple years in our archives and have posted slide show archives in a section we are calling REAL Cars on the tool bar.

Includes are pictures from our visit to the Studebaker Museum in South Bend Indiana in 2007, pictures from the Inter-Marque Gathering our local European car folks have each Spring (2007 and 2008) and pictures from the Italian Marque car show held yearly from our local Wheels of Italy car club (2007). We also added the pictures we took at this years 2009 Back to the 50′s Street Rod Show which takes place on our State Fairgrounds site. A number of past years have also been added.

While we understand this is not die cast related maybe it will give some folks in the custom world some inspiration. Or the manufacturers some content ideas.
